My name is Aimee Meehan, and I am a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with close to 20 years of experience in the field of nursing and mental health. My mission is to provide holistic and personalized care to each of my clients, ensuring they receive the support and treatment they need to lead fulfilling and balanced lives.
I specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. I specialize in addictions medicine and I am a Certified Addictions Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice (CARN-AP). I am also a Certified Recovery Coach.
I combine evidence-based practice with a holistic approach and work closely with my clients to develop a personalized treatment plan that can include medication management, psychotherapy, integrative treatments and lifestyle adjustments.
With a strong foundation in nursing and advanced training in psychiatry, I bring both medical expertise and a deep commitment to providing patient-centered care. I believe in actively involving my clients in their treatment plans, fostering an environment of collaboration and trust. I am also committed to fostering a safe, nonjudgemental environment where my clients can openly share their concerns and goals.
